Something that I'm a really big fan of is the computer monitor mount. Normally people put their monitor right on the desk and that is perfectly fine, but a mount is something that holds the monitor in the air without having a base touching the table. I have the Ergotron 33-329-057 Neo-Flex Widescreen Lift Stand and it is really a nice mount. It actually hooks on the end of the table, which means it will take up much less space than the monitor wood. You can actually get mounts that hook right onto the wall, but that requires installation. I like this one and think it is the best because it is the easiest to setup. It's just a matter of connecting it to the back of your monitor and you're ready to go. There's no special setup or knowledge that you need to possess.
